Tisbury triumphs in our last GC High Handicap match against Dowlish Wake

We welcomed a team of five from Dowlish Wake which was the last of the High Handicap League matches for the season for us. It was a warm and blustery day but our gazebo survived lashed to the fence. David Morley, the Tisbury chairman, acted as referee and was called on several occasions to resolve possible potential faults. There were a couple of scoring problems but with the help of the SWF League Secretary the match was declared a win for Tisbury by seven games to five. We enjoyed the challenge and were delighted with the result.
