We all enjoyed the day’s play even though we endured a whole day of wind and rain. The lawns were in very good condition thanks to the hard work by members of the club the day before. Bob Hart, the Bath team captain, wrote that the Bath team thoroughly enjoyed the day’s play and our hospitality. The resulting score was even with each team winning eight games. Clive did particularly well winning all four of his games!
