David, Clive, Geoff and Jan were our team who represented Tisbury at the Nailsea Short Croquet Tournament on Friday 11th April. The report was that the hoops were very solid and felt like they were fixed in cement, so had no give at all - balls just kept bouncing back! However, this effect was suffered by all players, yet despite the challenge our gallant team managed to not disgrace themselves! Sun and clear skies (albeit chilly in the shade) also added to making it an enjoyable day, plus the afternoon tea and cake provided by our hosts.
