GC High Handicap match at Winterborne Valley

We didn't win but we're getting better!

The results do not really reflect the games we played. We may not have won but everyone played well and seemed to enjoy themselves. Everyone was happy with the new handicaps. I think the penny has now dropped that having a low handicap is not necessarily a good thing in match play!

The court/lawns at Winterborne Valley were quirky. They had weird dips and hollows but Sye managed to read the lawns and won two of his singles games and Rob won one of his. Everyone played some excellent shots. We look forward to the return match in Tisbury on 16th July.
