On Wednesday, 7th October, three of the original four Tisbury members traveled to Hamptworth in the afternoon for a 'friendly' AC match with each game lasting three hours. Geoff Cluett was unable to attend at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. The weather was unfavourable with rain persisting for most of the afternoon resulting in slower lawns that made it challenging to drive the balls over a long distances.

David Morley (ACh 20), despite playing alone in Geoff's absence, competed against Nick (ACh 16) and Ann Beard (ACh 16) and won the game by 9 points to 8.

Clive Camp (ACh 14) faced Jonathan Cullis (ACh 11) in a singles game. Jonathan emerged victorious with a score of 26 points to 17, although Clive's handicap was incorrectly calculated, which if correct might have resulted in a closer score.

Jan Kot (ACh 7) played against Chris Weedon (ACh 5) and, with 2 bisques, secured a win with a score of 26 points to 12.
